    Questions about building your cake

    How much does a custom cake cost?

    The builder shows the price as you choose. It changes with the size and any extras, like a drip or a topper, so you see the total before it goes in your basket.

    What size cake do I need?

    Each cake shows how many it serves before you choose, from a 5 inch bento for up to 5 people to a 10 inch for around 30. Our cake size guide compares every size side by side.

    Can I put a photo on the cake?

    Yes. Choose the photo print finish in Build your own, upload your photo, and we print it for the top.

    How much notice do you need?

    Cupcakes and small bakes need 2 days, most celebration cakes need 3, and tiered and showpiece cakes need at least 2 weeks. Order by 2pm and that day counts. Each cake shows its earliest day before it goes in your basket.

    Can you make something free from an allergen?

    We can leave an ingredient out, but we can't promise a bake is free from it. Our kitchen uses several allergens, so traces are always possible. Each product lists what it contains and may contain. If you have a severe allergy, ring us on 020 8087 4785 before you order.
